One of my favorite restaurants in the USC area! Super good food for a reasonable price. I love the ambiance and they have a super cute interior. This pad see ew and cosmo cocktails were great!
VEGAN REVIEW: I love Thai food... a lot. Since going vegan, it's one of the cuisines I miss eating the most. Trio House seems to have a ton of vegan options. They have a vegetarian menu and when I asked the waitress, she said anything on that menu could be made vegan. My go-to thai dish is always pad see ew, so that's what I got. I asked for no egg and confirmed with the waitress that it was vegan. I thought the dish tasted fine. It definitely wasn't the best pad see ew I've had, but it was satisfying enough. Truthfully, I think the flavors were better the day after (I had leftovers). I would definitely go to Trio again to try their other veganizable dishes.
The interior of this place is fantastic. It's pretty chill and laid back. It's great for families and great if you are alone. I saw several people here with laptops or books out studying. It's a welcoming environment with plenty of seating. There's also parking in the back if you are interested. The food comes out pretty quick. The pad Thai is delicious. I don't like eating meat with my pad Thai so I tried it with tofu. Tofu tastes strange but that's just my personal taste. Overall, the pad Thai was really yummy and I want more. Maybe next time I am in California. It comes with quite a lot of food to fulfill your appetite.
Been here couple times, a cute place for good thai food! Pretty modern looking place, walkable from campus, food tastes good, plenty of seating, good portions, great service--can't really complain! Most recently I had the Vegetable Kang Ka Ri (potato, carrots, broccoli in yellow coconut curry) and it was flavorful and delicious. Also we opted for purple forbidden rice which was delicious! It's a good casual place to come with friends and the menu is pretty extensive, there's things for everyone!
This place has good food and ambience at affordable prices. I had a couple of different items here : Veggie Egg Roll - good, preferred veg starter here Mongol Noodles - it had great flavour and taste Drunken Noodles - similar in taste to Mongol Noodles but with flat noodles. Thai fried rice - very good flavour Rice with red curry - the curry is very rich and thick and has a good creamy feel to it. Tastes great. Pad Thai - has a slightly sweet taste to it and hence did not like it that much. The raw sprouts in it also didn't seem great. All the food portions are good for one person.
